The Solar Stone is a pumice and concrete mix which retains heat, this house does not need to have the plumbing drained in our cold winters if left unattended. The electrical power is totally solar supplied. Hot water is both solar with on demand propane as back up. The two wood stoves normally provide additional heat if needed, but there is a propane hot water system in place. Thick tile floors also retain heat and orientation to the sun makes for warm winter sun heated bedrooms. Also 2 propane refrigerators included. Application has been made to local electric company for power service to be provide and is on a waiting list.Property Description
